When I arrive at Switch for our regular monthly Sunday morning shoots, they’ve got a rack of fully-styled looks ready to go and a little mini photo studio set up and ready to shoot. We immediately dive in by photographing outfits on our model, as well as some looks on Jennifer, one of the co-owners at Switch. The shoot is fast, furious and well-organized. After shooting, I take a few days to edit and crop our photos and upload them to a dropbox folder for the team at Switch to access. They’ll use these photos for the next 3-4 weeks on their instagram feed, Facebook page and of course their e-commerce website.
It’s important to the owners at Switch that their photos represent the fun, unique and wearable quality of their clothing. You’ll rarely see a photo of a look from Switch that doesn’t have big smiles, big color and lots of movement. This is the Switch brand that they have carefully cultivated over the years, and that resonates with their clientele.
