I’ve been photographing Bryn and her sister Joeine for several years now. Some of the portraits I’ve taken of the two of them are all-time personal favorites of mine.
Bryn and Joeine were both featured in an article called “The In-Between Years” which was published several years ago by Professional Photographer. They were both still little girls when that article was written about my studio, and now they’ve both grown into gorgeous young ladies.
Typically I photograph Bryn and Joeine together. They’re very close and they play off each other and create great energy during their session. This time around I’m photographing them separately, hoping to capture a little more of their individuality.
My idea for Bryn’s editorial shoot was to create a handmade flower wall. It’s simply a big piece of cardboard with about 100 silk flowers arranged on the front. I worked with Alisha Jared of Siren Salon to create a very lush look for Bryn’s shoot, and she did an amazing job. Here are the results!
